Our children’s artwork is displayed throughout the school for a one-night gallery exhibition.  Help is needed in organizing the artwork and hanging it on the walls.

Plant flowers and decorate the front of the school.

Join us for an evening of friends, food, friendly gambling, and fabulous prizes! A number of tasks with a variety of time commitments are required for our biggest fundraiser of the year. We need your talent!

Assist the music teacher and students with before school practices and the night of the concert.

Assist teacher and coordinate with other class helpers for class parties. Act as a liaison between PTA committee chairs and other parents in your class in support of various programs. Attendance at monthly PTA meetings strongly encouraged.

The PTA sponsors many events at which baked goods may be purchased or consumed.  These events include the Teachers Tea, Bingo Night, the Talent & Variety Show, Teachers’ Appreciation week and Picnic Day. Many bakers and helpers are needed all year round.  You need only to contribute when you are able.

Help is needed with set up/clean up for the pizza dinner we have preceding the game.  We also have a pep squad of students who cheer their favorite team on!

Help is needed to provide an end of year picnic for students during Field Day in June.

The Committee works to help the children become aware of our community, its people and their needs.  Each grade has their own special project.  Some of our community projects have involved us with Interfaith Neighbors, SPCA, Make a Wish Foundation, and Ronald McDonald House.  Volunteers are needed all year round for this very busy and worthwhile committee.

Organize and maintain records for our annual reading activity.  Volunteers are needed for recording times for each class.  

Help organize and set up on the day of the event. Committee members will be able to run in the event.

The School Store is open three times a year from 12 noon until 1 o’clock.  Volunteers are needed to work the store and assist the children with their purchases.

This big show takes place at the high school.  Many hands are needed to plan and produce the many aspects of this show.  Volunteers are needed for practices, rehearsals, the program, ticketing, and show night.

Wanamassa twirlers (3rd & 4th graders) demonstrate their talents at various events such as Parent/Teacher basketball game, end of the year awards ceremony, etc.

This committee works all year long taking pictures at events for the annually published Yearbook.  Photographs are gathered and organized and the layout of the pages and their content are worked on in February and March.

Organize a June celebration for the 4th graders as they leave for the Intermediate School.
